Dino Polska SA, one of the fastest-growing chains of proximity supermarkets in Poland, has received the title of “Forbes Diamond 2017,” ranking 30 place in the category of large Polish companies with revenues over 250 million PLN and 3 place in Wielkopolska province in the same category. “Forbes Diamonds” is a ranking of the fastest-growing enterprises in Poland, which in the last three years have most dynamically increased their value. These prestigious honours from the Polish edition of Forbes monthly are being awarded this year for the 10th time.
To prepare the ranking, the partner for the “Forbes Diamond” ranking, the business intelligence service Bisnode Polska, created a database of enterprises which received a positive rating for reliability this year, i.e. enterprises that are profitable, have high current liquidity, and are current in their payments.
Szymon Piduch, CEO of Dino Polska SA, commented: “The title of ‘Forbes Diamond 2017’ is an important distinction for Dino Polska. Over recent years we have grown very dynamically, increasing the number of stores in our chain from 111 in 2010 to 628 by the end of 2016. The double-digit year-on-year revenue dynamic on a rapidly evolving market reflects high sales both in existing locations (LFL) and in newly opened locations. We are pleased that this growth and the results we are achieving have been recognized and rewarded.”
